Leak
Pool Leak Detection in Carrollton, TX
Pressure testing and dye testing across the shell, plumbing, fittings and equipment, with non-invasive tools tried first.
We test before we dig
A leak can hide in the shell, the plumbing, the fittings or the equipment, and guessing wrong means paying to open up the wrong section of deck. We assess the whole system first, then use pressure testing and specialised dye tests to find exactly where the water is going. Non-invasive tools come first wherever they can do the job, so you are not paying for digging or demolition to find something a dye test would have shown us anyway.
What the assessment covers
Shell, plumbing lines, fittings and every piece of equipment connected to the system, checked in that order. Pressure testing narrows down which section is losing water. Dye testing then confirms exactly where along that section it is happening, before anyone picks up a tool.

Before you call anyone
Five things that mean you are losing water.
More than a quarter inch a day
Mark the tile line and check it the next morning. Evaporation alone will not account for that.
Cracks in the surface or the deck
A crack that keeps moving is a structural question, not a cosmetic one.
Air bubbles from the return lines
Air getting in usually means water is getting out somewhere on the suction side.
Soft or soggy ground near the pool
Grass that stays wet through a Texas summer is the plumbing telling on itself.
A water bill that jumped
An auto-fill valve hides a leak perfectly, right up until the bill arrives.
What we check
- The shell itself, for hairline cracks and worn spots.
- Plumbing lines, from the equipment pad to the pool.
- Fittings and returns, where a seal is most likely to fail.
- Every piece of connected equipment.
How we find it
- Non-invasive tools first, to narrow things down without digging.
- Pressure testing, to isolate the section that is losing water.
- Specialised dye tests, to pinpoint the exact spot before any repair.
Seeing one of the five signs?
Tell us what you are noticing and roughly how long it has been going on. That is usually enough for us to start narrowing it down over the phone.
